A. Vogel - Aesculaforce Forte - 60 tablets

Aesculaforce® forte 50 mg (extract of common horse chestnut seeds.) Read the package leaflet carefully.

Indications: Herbal remedy for swelling, heaviness, itching, night cramps and restlessness in the legs. Has a vasoconstrictive effect and counteracts fluid leaks. Treatment of chronic venous impairment should be done in consultation with a physician.

Dosage: Adults: 1 tablet twice daily. Should only be used for pregnancy or children under 2 years of age by agreement with a doctor.

Special warnings and precautions for use: Caution in hepatic and renal impairment. You should consult a doctor in case of worsening of symptoms after starting treatment or in case of unsatisfactory effect after 6 weeks. Contact a doctor if you are wearing support stockings. You should only stop using these by appointment with a doctor.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to ingredients.

Interactions: May potentiate the effect of blood thinners and increase the risk of bleeding if you are being treated with NSAIDs.

Side effects: Very rare: Severe allergic reactions in the form of difficulty breathing and swelling of the mucous membranes in the mouth. Uncommon: Headache, dizziness and leg cramps. Nausea and difficulty swallowing. Rare: Itchy skin.
