DESCRIPTION:
Urticalcin is a lactose-free dietary supplement consisting of 33,6 ml of press juice from fresh stinging nettles, vitamin D and calcium.
Vitamin D is important to us because it contributes to the normal uptake and utilization of calcium and phosphorus. At the same time, vitamin D helps maintain normal bones. As a resident of the Nordic countries, where the hours of sunshine are often few, it can be difficult to cover your daily vitamin D needs. In Urticalcin you get vitamin D extracted from lichen (Cladonia rangifera). Lichen is a symbiosis of fungi and algae and has the ability to survive in extreme climates and convert sunlight to vitamin D3 and store it.
The calcium content of Urticalcin comes from oyster shells. Calcium is extracted from the inner, snow-white parts of the oyster shells. These are crushed, cleaned and then finely ground.
