InstructionsSince coconut flour is particularly high in fiber, it absorbs more liquid than most other types of flour. Therefore, you can reduce the amount of coconut flour in relation to the amount stated in the recipe of other flour (approx. 40%). At the same time, you should add an equal amount of extra liquid (try until you find the desired consistency). It is also recommended to add extra eggs in baked goods, where you use a large proportion of coconut flour (use an extra egg per 30 g of coconut flour). Coconut flour is often used in protein bars and other protein pastries, preferably in combination with protein powder. The flour has a natural sweet taste that allows you to use less sweetening in the baked goods. Coconut flour is also suitable as a natural thickener and binder in sauces. You can substitute up to 25% of wheat flour in traditional baking recipes and achieve a reduction of and carbohydrates. At the same time, you get a solid supplement of dietary fiber. There are lots of recipes where coconut flour is included, and if you want to replace other gluten-free flours with coconut flour, you can basically replace 100 percent. However, we recommend using coconut flour in combination with other types of flour for the best result.
