Coconut palm sugar 250g, Rawpowder Product Description: Organic 100% unrefined coconut palm sugar with a high content of antioxidants. It has a mild taste of caramel and is a good alternative to regular sugar.   A careful manual process produces a nutritious sugar that is unrefined and without additives. Coconut sugar is made by harvesting the coconut flowers before they develop into coconuts. The coconut flowers are collected after picking in large pans or vessels and heated on low heat until the water evaporates and the nectar from the flowers crystallizes. This leaves you with the caramel-like sugar.   Rawpowder coconut palm sugar has a low GI (glycemic index).   ORIGINAL COUNTRIES: Indonesia.   Nutritional content per 100 grams: Energy: 375kcal / 1568kJ Fat: 1g Of which saturated fatty acids: 0,5g Carbohydrates: 94g Of which natural sugar: 92g Fiber: 1,7g Protein: 2g Salt: 0g   RECOMMENDED USE: Replaces regular sugar, but IS with significantly better properties.
