Coconut oil - the antibacterial moisturizer Coconut oil is incredibly moisturizing and at the same time known for its antibacterial and antifungal effect. The oil also easily penetrates the skin and hair. Remember to invest in a cold-pressed and organic coconut oil, as all the good nutrients are retained in it. Hair treatment: Distribute the coconut oil in dry hair and let it sit for as long as possible. If you suffer from dry scalp, or a scalp that flakes (this can be due to fungus, among other things), you can also massage the oil well into the scalp. Feel free to take a bag over your hair and afterwards a towel and sleep with this overnight. Wash your hair the next morning and feel how your hair is left soft, elastic and easy to handle. TIP! Massage shampoo into your hair BEFORE rinsing it with water. Otherwise, your hair will be very greasy. Body oil: Coconut oil can easily replace your body lotion as it is extremely suitable as a massage and body oil. You get the optimal moisturizing effect when you use it on slightly moist skin (right after bathing). The antibacterial effect of coconut oil makes it good to use after shaving legs, armpits or the intimate area, as the oil reduces the risk of bumps and ingrown hairs.

Soap nuts - nature's own soap Soap nuts come from the plant Sapindus Mukorossi, which naturally contains saponins. You can use soap nuts for everything from laundry, cleaning and personal care of hair, face and body wash. Soap nut shampoo and soap: Boil two soap nuts in 2.5 dl water for 30 minutes. Crush them halfway (you can also blend them) to release more of the saponin. The liquid you have is liquid soap nuts and will form the base for all of the above purposes. Set the nuts aside and let them dry so you can use them another time. To use the liquid as a shampoo, it must be diluted - mix a tablespoon of soap in ½ dl. water. Distribute the soap in your wet hair during your bath, massage your hair from scalp to tips (the soap does not lather like regular shampoo) and let it sit in your hair for a few minutes. Use a little more liquid soap as a body wash if you want. Rinse thoroughly and voila: you now have clean and unusually soft hair - and at the same time have taken care of the environment.

Glycerin - the amazing moisture binder Glycerin is known for its incredible ability to bind water. This ability makes glycerin a great ingredient for skin and hair care. Glycerin is at the same time very mild and tolerated by most people. Hair styling: Do you have thick and frizzy hair? Do you want to tame small, brittle hair? Or do you want to care for your dry hair between hair washes? Then you can use glycerin as a nurturing and effective hair styling. Mix 2 dl. glycerin with 1 teaspoon olive oil and pour into a glass bottle with spray. Shake the bottle thoroughly, spray on your hair (dry or towel-dried hair after washing hair) and comb the hair through. Feel how the spray makes your hair soft, delicious and easy to set. Toner: Add glycerin to distilled water (in the mixing ratio 1 part glycerin to 10 parts water) to get a nice moisturizing facial toner or mist. If you want fragrance, you can add a little rose water or essential oils. Pour into a glass bottle and apply on cotton pad morning and evening or spray on your skin over the course of days and discover how the mild effect of glycerin softens and moisturizes your skin. Store for up to a week in the fridge.

Apple cider vinegar - sour magic Today, apple cider vinegar has become one of the most popular ingredients for do-it-yourself personal care. Vinegar is a universal product. It is used not only in skin care but also in hair care and for various minor treatments of health problems. Choose an organic and unfiltered version to get the highest quality. Vinegar Rinse One of the most popular ways to use vinegar for personal care is to rinse the hair - because this simple process helps to remove remnants of soap and lime from the hair as well as close the hair strand after washing hair. Thereby, vinegar rinsing makes the hair soft, shiny and easy to handle. Vinegar also restores the pH of the scalp after alkaline / alkaline soap washing. Mix 2 tablespoons apple cider with 5 dl water. If necessary, add 1-2 drops of essential oil as needed. Rinse the hair in the mixture and let sit for approx. 1 minute. Be careful to avoid contact with your eyes. Rinse thoroughly and experience how your hair becomes soft and shiny without the use of conditioner Foot bath A foot bath with apple cider vinegar is a way to disinfect your feet. If you have been walking all day long and you feel your feet are tired, try a foot bath with vinegar. These baths can also relieve foot and toenail fungus. At the end of the day, vinegar can also be sprayed into the shoes to disinfect them and remove the unpleasant odor. Add a cup of vinegar to a tub of warm water and soak your feet in, for 15 to 20 minutes. Repeat this treatment two to three times a week.
