Give new fabric new life - Make beeswax wraps at home! This block of beeswax is mixed with just the right amount of wood resin and organic coconut oil. SuperBee now sells their wax mix in large blocks so you can make your own recyclable food wrappers at home. The adult comes with instructions so you can easily make your own wraps. This wax solution produces 6-10 beeswax wraps or about 1 square meter of beeswax wraps depending on the thickness, technique and size of the cotton used. This is an obvious and fun DIY kids project that can be easily done in under an hour! Instructions: 1. First set the iron to a low to medium setting 2. Place baking paper or recyclable silicone mat on the ironing board 3. Place the fabric on baking paper / silicone mat and sprinkle wax on the fabric - "less is more" 4. Place another baking paper / silicone mat on top on fabric and wax 5. Iron the top of the baking paper / silicone mat to melt wax all over the fabric (be careful not to let the wax seep out of the baking paper / silicone mat as this will ruin your ironing board) 6. Use a grate brush to brush wax over the edges to get a clean corner finish 7. Carefully lift the wax wrap of baking paper / silicone mat and hang on the string, or hold it up for 30 seconds.
