DESCRIPTION:
Soy flour is ground from organic, roasted soybeans in Europe.
It has a very high protein content and is used to enrich flour, porridge and other foods.
Soy flour was developed in the 1940s to extend the shelf life and improve the texture of a range of products.
Our organic soy flour is gluten-free, so it cannot replace all wheat or rye flour in bread production, but up to approx. 15% soy flour can be used to give a fresh and dense bread with a nutty aroma.
