On the Indian subcontinent, the wash nut is a natural part of the wash culture. Both textiles, jewelry, precious metals and objects from the temples are cleaned with wash nuts. The nuts contain the substance saponin, which has special washing properties. They make the sink nice and soft and are difficult to use. They are also gentle on the skin and therefore suitable for small children and sensitive skin.

Instructions

Instead of the usual detergent, put 3-5 nutshells in the cotton bag. The nuts are crushed in the bag and the bag is placed in the washing drum together with the clothes. Then start the washing machine in the usual way. The wash nuts wash colored and boil wash from 30 to 95 degrees and also cashmere, wool and silk. When washing up to 40 degrees, the wash nuts can be recycled. For whitewashing, a teaspoon of bleach can be added as desired. The scent is neutral. If perfuming is desired, a few drops of essential oil can be dripped on the cotton bag with the wash nuts. Wash nut decoction Boil approx. 5 wash nuts in a liter of water and let it soak for 5 minutes. Come decoction in a bottle. This decoction can be used for laundry and easy cleaning.
