Zerochol is a dietary supplement containing natural plant sterols. Plant sterols are plant parts from fruits, vegetables, nuts and grains, and they play an important role in the structure of the plant. Plant sterols have been shown to lower blood cholesterol levels. A high cholesterol level is a risk factor in relation to the development of coronary heart disease. a change in one of these risk factors does not necessarily have a beneficial effect. The beneficial effect is achieved by a daily intake of at least 1,5-3 g of plant sterols. The recommended daily dose of two tablets is 1,6 g of plant sterols.

Ingested with the main meal. An intake of more than 3 g of plant sterols should be avoided. The product is not intended for people who do not need to regulate blood cholesterol levels. Should not be used by pregnant women and children under 5 years of age. Patients taking cholesterol-lowering medication should only use the product under medical supervision.
