DESCRIPTION:
Organic alfalfa seeds for sprouting taste mildly like salad. They are used raw and can be used in everything from sandwiches and smørrebrød to wraps and dips. Limited only by imagination.
The sprouts from alfalfa seeds are also called alfalfa sprouts. The finished sprouts are rich in protein and can be used in e.g. salads, sandwiches, bread, tea, soups and smoothies. They are also suitable as a topping.
Course of action:
1. Soak the seeds in a cup and stir so that they fall to the bottom. They should soak for approx. 10 hours.
2. Rinse the seeds and spread them evenly in a sprout container.
3. Rinse with fresh cool water two to three times a day. Be careful that the water pressure is not too strong, as this can damage the sprouts.
4. It takes up to six days from germination to leaf setting.
